What is the dessert that best represents Florida, and where can I get it?
Without a doubt, key lime pie is the sweet treat you should be ordering, one that can be found in just about any restaurant in town. The Florida Key Lime Pie Company, located at 102 Dixie Lane in Cocoa Beach, however, is probably the best place to visit, offering not just key lime pies that are to die for, but an entire store filled with Florida delicacies, including locally made Gator Jerky.
We didn’t bring any beach gear. Can you direct us to a store that sells some?
It is difficult to find a store in Cape Canaveral that doesn’t sell beach gear, but chances are, other than sunscreen, you won’t need to purchase any. Many of our Stay In Cocoa Beach escapes offer a closet filled with the large items you need for a beach, including chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and body boards. Beach towels are generally provided as well.
